So sorry Elliott - I was just looking back at my comments and realized that either my reply to you didn't post at the time or just didn't transfer once they changed the blogster site????  Well, I guess better late than never, :)  First, let me say thanks for being interested and following Theresa's case.  She will have been missing a year this March.  Thank goodness though, they did arrest Sam Parker this morning, 2/4/08.  Hopefully, she will be found soon.

She was last seen on March 21 so it's been over 4 months! [SAD] I can't even imagine what her family is going through. It would have to be so hard to lose a family member but even worse to not even know where they are or what happened. Thanks for reading Theresa's story and caring. [HEART][HEART][HEART]

That's true Elliott. At least if they knew what happened, they could give her a proper burial and start the healing process. It's like their life is in limbo...... I can't even begin to imagine what pain they are going through.....

Thank you granna. You're right - this situation is causing so many people pain and I hope there is a resolution soon. I keep hoping that what the evidence points toward and what my personal opinion is on what happened to Theresa is proven totally wrong and she will come back home alive....still praying for a miracle but if that's not possible then at least justice. Thanks for your comments. I too hope Theresa is found soon. I think you have gotten the impression though that I am personally family of Theresa's but I am not. Not sure if there is hostility between the families or not, but that is the feeling I get after reading Dawgnurse's blogs....If there weren't before, I would feel confident there would be bad feelings after reading her blogs. God bless all and keep praying.

Thank you. I believe in the justice system and I don't think there is a such thing as a perfect crime (God knows all) so I know it will all come out in the end. I just hope sooner than later for the sake of her family. [HEART]

I'm thinking about creating a personal blog for myself, but I set this one up strictly for Theresa, to put her name and story out there further. Hopefully, it will shed some light on the situation for many and furthermore make people talk about issues that affect too many women and that is the problem of domestic violence. A lot of people think it only happens to people they don't know and that if it was happening they would know about it, but that's nto the case. Other people think if they know about it, as long as it isn't their mother or sister, that it's okay to ignore it because it isn't their problem, but that isn't the case either. DV isn't always obvious, sometimes not even to people that are close to the person being abused and we need to open the public's eyes and let them know that it isn't just "weak women" who don't work and aren't educated who are dealing with this. We need to take away the stereotypes that go with abused women and make it where they don't feel so ashamed to ask for help out of these situations.

Other than that, I guess I can just say I'm a female fixing to hit my 30s before long, live in NW GA, have wonderful children, enjoy life, and desparately want Theresa to be found and brought back to her family as do so many others.

That was very thoughtful of you. We've still got the fliers up here too, but sadly we all know they aren't going to help find her because we know Theresa isn't out there walking around anybody's neighborhood going on with her life. The fliers do help remind us everyday though that we aren't going to give up until we find her and that we all need to cherish each day like it's our last. [HEART]
